We showed you several photos that we got for $1 or so. Here are the details.
All the photos we use are royalty free,which means you can use them for any public use, with some restrictions, like no porno. You $1 buys you a single use in most cases. If you use them on a web site and then in a comic book, you would need to pay for the photo twice.
The great thing is they are cheap and can be easily adapted to your project. Plus there are literially millions of photos available for instant download.
Once you are ready to start making your own artwork, it makes sense to sign up for a package of 10 or 20 photos, so that you can grab then as you need them.

BigStock has more than a million photos, and I use them as one of my main suppliers.
Lucky Oliver is another site, with fewer photos, but probably has the lowest prices.

Poser 7 is the software used to create all the figures in the Design section, in the Wally Wood 22 Panels recreation.
There are a number of sites that offer 2D and 3D content. Renderosity best place on the web for 2D and 3D resources, both for free and for sale.
I use this site for both Poser and Photoshop content and resources.
