I have some of the items listed here and have heard good things about the others.
If you see a recommendation, I use the software myself. If you see N/A, it means I can't recommend it because I haven't used it. But it still is something you should consider for your own comic book efforts. Just do your own research before buying it so that you are comfortable it will work for you.

Photoshop Elements, is from the makers of the top image modification software, Photoshop. Elements is a striped-down version of the original that is packed with the features need to create comic books at a very attractive price. |
